Calsaway Pool Services, Inc. utilizes a mobile high pressure Reverse Osmosis (R.O.) Filtration system. The Reverse Osmosis membranes are designed to remove 99% of the unwanted contaminants from the water that passes through the system. The water that is returned to the pool is pure water, void of calcium and any other nuisance causing compounds. Calsaway’s Reverse Osmosis system is so effective that it even removes bacteria and viruses from the water that passes through the membranes; however this system is not designed to completely sterilize your swimming pool. Although the membranes can filter down to virus sized particulates, Calsaway’s system is not designed to handle green swimming pools. We can treat these pools by way of other technologies, but this is out side the realm of Reverse Osmosis.

High pressure Reverse Osmosis systems mean high efficiency which translates to minimized water loss. Low pressure systems will not achieve the efficiencies that we see. Once your swimming pool has been treated with the Calsaway system, chemicals will still have to be added but at a lower concentration due to the removed impedances.
